There seems to be a lot less fundraising going on with teams relying heavily on gaming trust funding.
Does any body have some innovative ideas they have used to fundraise some money?

Our club sold Entertainment books. These books give you discounts on most restaurants in the city as well as other entertainment options such as the movies, minigolf and bowling etc. The books cost $60 and $10 of that goes towards the club. Most club members found it easy enough to sell 2 or 3 books, some sold over 20.

Hi Simon
I've run a few quiz nites over the past few years. We have on average have raised around $3000 per quiz. There is quite a lot of organisation that goes into it (finding venue, sponsors for prizes, someone to be MC, supper etc). You need to advertise well and get all your clubs to support you - but it is a really fun night.
If someone else wants to try running a quiz nite, I can provide them with questions/answers .
