In NZ: Daniel Shirley - good to see a kiwi doing so well overseas. In the World: Chen Jin - Shouldn't be too long before he becomes No. 1 MS player IMO. Great sportsmanship too!

I dont know his name but he's from Singapore and he was in the doubles and mixed final for the equinox...hes got awesome defense!!!!

In NZ: Alan Chan. I think he's doing really well for his age. Go Alan Oversea: Lili from Singapore. Coz we got the same chinese name. lol. just kidding. I luv her the way she plays

NZ: Don't have one International: Taufik (amazing talent). He's about equal with Chen Jin for me - I really can't decide between them. Taufik is so great to watch, so elegant in just about every move he makes! He causes a lot of drama in the badminton community though lol. In fact, when I posted that Chen Jin was my favourite was around the time that Taufik wasn't really playing all that much. Now that he's back into it I'd say he's probably my favourite once more.

Did you know that Liu Fan Francis is the daughter of the coach that Li Feng had when she was in China from a small girl right up to making the China National Squad and beyond.

Some International Player news - Sairul Amar Ayob who won the Equinox NZ Open 1 Star event in 2005 recently won the Big Boss Dutch Open 22/20, 14/21, 21-9 beating Yun Yong Wu from China in the final.
